WELCOME TO MY BLOG 

Hi! I’m Monica Dallyn.

Being the mother of a young son, and a beloved furbaby, Garvey, whom I adopted on 8/29/2014, I understood firsthand how difficult maintaining clean, germ-free floors can be. Did you know there are up to 200,000 bacteria per square inch living in most rugs? Yuck! Vacuuming and scrubbing stains or pet accidents won't do much, if anything, to combat the bacteria.

After graduating with an A.A. in Merchandise Marketing from the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising and needing a magical solution, I took my entrepreneurial spirit and set out to create a product that I was sure would change the lives of moms and pet owners like myself. 

In the summer of 2020, I co-founded My Magic Carpet: 100% machine-washable and non-slip, stain-resistant area rugs with high-end style in a collection of design patterns, colors, and sizes, saving homes and their floors one washable rug at a time.

As a loving mother, wife, and businesswoman, I am a strong supporter of women and women-owned businesses. My hope is to inspire other women to follow their dreams. It is also my heart's desire to help find homes for as many shelter animals as possible.

Here in my blog I'll share day-to-day life, insights, recipes, mommy life nuggets, pet hacks and hopefully some inspiration!
