Cooking with Lincoln: A Visit From Mima

To celebrate Mother's Day I invite my mom on to the set of Cooking with Lincoln so she can help us make her famous, award-winning chocolate chip cookies! Along the way some of the ingredients accidentally end up in our tummies but that's just part of the process 😘. Check out our video below.
The recipe is a family secret so only a few ingredients will be revealed.

1 cup of butter |
3/4 cup White Sugar |
3/4 cup Brown Sugar |
1 tsp. Vanilla Extract |
2 eggs |
2 1/4 cup of flour |
1 tsp. Salt |
1 cup White Chocolate Chips |
1 cup Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips |
|
---|
Step One: Grease a cooking sheet with oil or butter and preheat the oven to 375 degrees. |
Step Two: In a bowl, combine butter, sugar, brown sugar, vanilla extract, and eggs and mix until creamy. |
Step Three: Combine flour, baking soda, and salt in a separate bowl and gradually add it to your wet ingredients, mixing until thoroughly combined. |
Step Four: Fold white and semi-sweet chocolate chips into the dough. |
Step Five: Spoon out 1" scoops of cookie batter onto a cooking sheet, spacing evenly between. |
Step Six: Slide the cookie sheet into the oven and bake for 9-11 minutes. |
Step Seven: Take cookies out of the oven and let sit for 2 min. Move the cookies over to a cooling rack and allow to rest for at least 5 minutes |
Enjoy! |
